We met at a college sorority/fraternity event during the first week of classes at IUPUI. I was newly transferred to the school and had made a friend from my sorority a few weeks before. After a long day of classes, I was forced by this friend to come along with her and some of her friends to the Stacked Pickle where an event took place. I drove with my friend and she mentioned that we had to quickly pick up a friend of hers, named Peyton. As we pulled up to the house and Peyton walked out, I remember saying "Wow he's cute!!". Later that night, I received a message from him once I got home and we began talking pretty often. I wasn't super interested in a relationship at first because I had just transferred and wanted to start fresh but I couldn't stop the feelings I had for this guy. He kept pursuing me and I finally convinced myself to give it a shot a few months later. Best decision of my life.

Peyton knows how much I love pictures and how I am always down to take them so when our favorite photographer friend messaged me asking if we could help her with some content for her page, I immediately said yes. What I didn't know at the time was that Peyton had planned the entire thing in order to propose to me. At the end of our shoot, we went to the cutest bridge as our last location. We were looking away from each other and then the photographer told me to turn around. As soon as I turned around to see Peyton on one knee with my absolute dream ring in his hands, I burst into tears. I was overwhelmed with every emotion. It was the easiest yes ever. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you.
