We first connected on a dating app during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020—both of us swiped right (thankfully, haha!). We exchanged numbers and socials, but didn’t talk much at first. Then one evening, with a little liquid courage, Gustavo randomly called Abby—and that one phone call changed everything. Our first official meet-up was at the park to walk Nevaeh, and from that day on, the conversations never stopped. What began as a simple friendship (or as we like to say, “ooh, friends”) has grown into something so much deeper. Over the years, we’ve watched each other grow, cheered each other on, and shared countless adventures—big and small. Now, we’re not just best friends and partners in love, but also partners in life’s adventures, and we can’t wait for all the ones still to come. We couldn’t be more grateful that fate and God brought us together.
