After many canceled events and flights in 2020 (thanks COVID), in fall 2020 we decided to use our airline credits to book a trip for December. We finally landed on Jackson, Wyoming, because it is somewhere we had never been and we felt like it would be the perfect place to be around Christmas! Little did I know, Bill was planning to propose on the trip. After arriving in Jackson, we spent the first two days skiing in the Teton Mountains and enjoying the beautiful scenery. On the last day of our trip (THE day), we planned to explore downtown. After a day of shopping and sight-seeing, Bill suggested we go take pictures under one of the iconic antler arches on the square (I should have known something was up if Bill was suggesting we take pictures!). He asked someone to take our picture, and then got down on one knee and proposed. After I said yes, Bill pointed to a camera on a building and told me to wave to our family and friends. He had arranged for our family and friends to watch the proposal online via live stream! It made the day even more special. We spent the rest of the night celebrating at dinner with champagne. Jackson Hole will always have a place in our hearts!
