Shining Sea Bikeway - North Falmouth Parking
The bikeway runs for 10.8 miles extending (North to South) from North Falmouth, near the Route 28A, Route 151 intersection, to the Ferry Landing in Woods Hole. It is a beautiful ride along the water and a great way to see Falmouth!
Martha's Vineyard
Take a day trip over to the small island of Martha's Vineyard, just 7 miles away from Falmouth to explore the authentic island culture. You can purchase a ticket for travel at either the Steamship Authority leaving from Woods Hole or the Island Queen leaving from Falmouth Harbor.
Cape Cod Winery
Cape Cod Winery is a great, family-owned spot to hear some good music and relax with a glass of wine (or 2!). Cards accepted. Snacks are minimal, so drink first, go out to eat later!
Woods Hole Science Aquarium
Woods Hole is known to be an international hub marine, biomedical, and environmental science. The Science Aquarium is owned by the United States government & operated by the National Marine Fisheries Service and the Marine Biological Laboratory. This small aquarium offers both observational and two-finger touch tanks, making it a great spot for kids! This is no cost, but donations are accepted.
Nobska Lighthouse
A beautiful lighthouse is a great place to watch the sunset, take advantage of the small walking path across the street and read up on the local history. Parking is limited.
Coonamessett Farm
Coonamessett Farm is a 20-ace farm consisting of a local general store, and a petting zoo with Nigerian Dwarf Goats and Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys.
Flying Bridge Restaurant
Sit on the deck of the Flying Bridge for a drink and a quahog while taking in the breathtaking views of Falmouth Harbor!
