Denver International Airport

If you are flying, the Denver International Airport is approximately 45 minutes east of downtown Denver. The best options to get to Downtown Denver/Capitol Hill are to take the RTD Train/Light Rail, Uber/Lyft, or renting a vehicle.

Airport RTD Train/Light Rail

If you choose to use the RTD train/light rail, take the A Line west from Denver International Airport to Union Station. This is the only train that departs from the airport, and Union Station is the final stop, so it’s very straightforward. An airport day pass for the A Line costs $10. If you need additional guidance, we’ve included a link to the A Line schedule and map. Once you arrive at Union Station, you may still need to take an Uber or Lyft to your hotel, but the cost will be significantly less than traveling all the way from the airport.
