First and foremost- all events are planned to be outside! Rehearsal, dinner, ceremony, and reception are outdoors. Airflow baby! Because we don't know what the future will look for feel like we've limited our guest list to just bridal party and immediate family. We ask our guests are either 1. fully vaccinated (2 weeks past their final inoculation) or 2. can provide a negative PCR Co-vid test before the event, 4 days after contact with other non-vaccinated folks. Megan and Abbie will be fully vaxxed! Masks will be required for indoor or bathrooms use. We also are offering distanced solo-seating for folks not ready to dine with others.
Planning a wedding in a pandemic has been a tough, joyous, and ever changing task. We decided an intimate wedding was the safest co-vid option. However, that meant that people we love deeply are not able to attend. When things feel truly safe, we hope to celebrate with those folks at receptions in Virginia, Massachusetts, and California. We hope those we were not able to include will be able to join and celebrate with us then.
Yep! There is plenty of street parking at both.
The reception will be held in Newton and we live in Jamaica Plain, both great neighborhoods to peruse on Airbnb. Let us know if you need help finding one or if you would like to stay with other bridal party members so we can put you in touch.
The city is your oyster! Depending on your interests, there is hiking in the Blue Hills, boating down the Charles, drinking at one of the hundred brewery patios, walking the Freedom Trail, art appreciating at the MFA and Isabella Gardner Stewart museum, and swimming at our old haunt Revere Beach. We are happy to make recommendations.
