The Iowa State Fair is one of the biggest (and in our opinion) the best fairs in the country! We highly recommend going! Matt and I will be fairing Friday all day and Saturday after the party ends.

Saturdays starting at 7am. We'll be wandering around the market before kicking off the party. Maybe we'll run into you!

Des Moines' Downtown Farmers’ Market

One of my faves! Grab a bicycle afterwards and ride around the riverfront trails to burn off delicious pizza or po'boy calories!
