What garden are we getting married in?

Answer

The Rotary Botanical Gardens have MANY different gardens. We have chosen to get married in the Sunken Garden. It's best (and quicker) to enter through gate #3 and follow the signs to the garden. If you enter through the main building, say you're there for the Dretzka/Hammer wedding and they can help direct you as needed!

What can I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Enjoy a stroll around the gardens after the ceremony on us. There's a total of 20 acres to explore! We will have some fish food available for you to feed to koi fish as well! Downtown Janesville is only 10 minutes away for a quick Target run or a snack at Panda Express.

Will the ceremony be outstide?

Answer

Yes! We love the idea of having a ceremony outside. Please hope with us that Mother Nature will cooperate with us on our day (though rain plans will be made in case of such occurrence). If you have any seasonal allergies, please plan accordingly as we would love to have you at our wedding!

Will the reception be outside?

Answer

Yes and no. The reception will take place in the atrium and the attached rooms of the Botanical Gardens. However, there is a patio just outside that will also be available. You are more than welcome to spend time there too!

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

We are honored that you are wanting to bring others with you to celebrate our special day, however we would appreciate that those listed on the invites are those who attend.
