After finding each other on Hinge, a popular dating app, we went on our first date on August 19th, 2023! Ever since that first date, the Lord has blessed our lives more than we could have ever imagined. Prior to meeting Jake, Abbie had previously prayed to the Lord for a sign through a song signaling when she found her husband. That song was "Hotel California" by the Eagles. She had not heard that song since that prayer, until Jake and Abbie went to a Train concert on their fifth date. As Train started to play their last song, the lead singer said he didn't usually play this but wanted to that night - it was Hotel California by the Eagles. The rest is history! Since that day, God has shaped our relationship in really significant ways, and we are so grateful to our support system for being there every step of the way. We can't wait to celebrate with you in October!!
