Abbie and Eli will be tying the knot in a private ceremony with their families on April 25, 2026. As they prepare to exchange vows, they are excited to begin the next chapter of their lives together and look forward to celebrating with family and friends at their reception in July. They would like to thank those closest to them who have walked alongside them on this journey- encouraging, praying for, and loving them from the very beginning.
Eli and Abbie connected online through a Christian dating app. They quickly bonded over their shared love for the Lord and meaningful conversation, which led them to meet in person for their first date on September 9, 2025. They met at Southern Star and Little Ocmulgee State Park. Abbie remembers Eli’s smile when they first sat down for dinner and recalls that she “immediately felt at home.” Eli left that night knowing there was something different about Abbie and that he didn’t want to live his life without her in it. Their relationship deepened through daily phone calls, weekend visits, and weekly date nights at the state park. Little Ocmulgee became “their spot,” and it was there, on January 31, that Eli got down on one knee and asked Abbie to spend forever with him—and she joyfully said yes. As they step into this next chapter, Eli and Abbie are filled with thankfulness to God for His hand over their lives and their relationship, as well as for the love and support that has surrounded them along the way. They are excited to build a life together centered on Christ and to continue running their race side by side in the years to come. “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” — Colossians 1:17
