Brett and I met in a criminal justice class on campus during the spring semester of 2024. We had sat next to each other for several weeks, and I finally decided to say hello. We clicked immediately, and spent the rest of the semester eating meals together in the cafeteria and hanging out in group settings. By the end of April, Brett asked me out to coffee. That was our first unofficial date, but we didn't truly begin our relationship until December of that year! Through a long summer of trials, waiting, and pursing other goals (and potentially other people, oops), we lost touch over the next few months. However, the Lord redeemed our relationship by carefully drawing us to one another and showing us the providence of His plan. We were engaged at just 9 months of dating, as it was so evident to us that this was the path we were meant to be on! We thank God daily for rewriting our story and bringing us together in marriage. We are so excited to faithfully pursue Christ's Kingdom together and can't wait for all the beautiful things in store for our future!
