We are so excited to celebrate with you

They met during Abbie's first semester of college in a writing class. AJ was too shy to talk to her (which is rare for him) until she started talking about movies and TV, and he had an in. One day, Abbie did the most out of character thing she's ever done: she said "hello" to someone she barely knew. They spent the next hour engrossed in a conversation surprisingly devoid of awkward silences. AJ was supposed to be in math class, but let's be honest, he's never been overly-enthusiastic about math class. Their destiny had already been sealed. They went from talking one time in a hallway to talking every day. They wrote a ghost story together in their shared class and eventually realized that they could write stories together forever--metaphorically speaking, and hopefully with less ghosts. Six months later they moved in together, and soon after that they were in their first house. There was no going back for either of them! Abbie's uncharacteristic "hello" and AJ's penchant to be anywhere but math class turned out to be the most important and emotionally gratifying thing either of them had ever done.

2016: They met in college and started dating in October. AJ changed majors twice. Thanksgiving was AJ's first trip to Ballasylva, where he said he loved her for the first time - she said it back a week later. 2017: She moved in with him in June (along with her cat, April). Tucciarone family cruise in the summer. Abbie was in a car accident and bought a new car. AJ bought a house in December. 2018: Welcomed nephew, Jake, in September. 2019: New job for Abbie. Tucciarone family trip to North Carolina. They adopted a new kitty. AJ graduated college and got a new job. 2020: Abbie started her dream job. Quarantine. AJ was diagnosed with cancer and finished chemo. AJ was cleared of cancer. AJ got a new job. They got engaged! (What a wild ride!) 2021: Welcomed nephew, Ozzy, in March. AJ was promoted. They bought their dream forever house and are moved in early October. Had their first Christmas in the new house with the Odams and Tucciarone family. 2022: We're getting married! Five years filled with many ups and downs, lots of laughs, animals, and trips to Bellasylva.

On Christmas morning, AJ pressed Abbie to open her presents before they went to his parent's house for breakfast. The last gift she opened was a puzzle box (puzzles are Abbie's Kryptonite) which AJ had made and custom 3D printed. In the box was Abbie's Mama's heirloom ring!
