I met Michael our freshman year of college where we had a class called "the Ethics of Harry Potter" together. After both of us transferred schools, I texted him on a whim and we quickly became best friends. We had a completely online friendship until he was part of the surprise of my proposal. He flew all the way from New York City to be there and give Josh the ring.

Lauren has been such a rock for me that I don't think I can begin to describe it. I don't think I could have made it through this process nearly as smoothly if it wasn't for her. She is so strong and always makes me smile. We have become amazing friends since I moved to Atlanta and she has made wedding planning such a joy.

Cindy and I became friends while I was going to college. I will always remember our amazing trip to Disney together where I dragged her and Josh back and forth across the park from sun rise to sunset. In my defense, they made the mistake of giving me comfortable shoes instead of my standard everyday heels

Savannah, Meghan and Josh were TA's together and during the pandemic, we began to reach out to old friends. In a matter of months, Savannah and I became such good friends that I couldn't picture my wedding without her

I’ve known Sam since high school and he's one of the best people I know. Always there for folks, always has good music suggestions, and never fails to make our friend group laugh. From Science Olympiad parties to sleepover nights at the condo, he’s been a keystone of our friend group for a long time. I'm honored to be his friend.

For a long while, Cameron was the goofiest person I'd ever had the pleasure of meeting. He still is, in many ways. The amount of fun I have had when hanging out with him is more than I could ever ask for. Beyond humor, he is a genuinely compassionate, driven, authentic person who I'm extremely proud to know.

Alex and I go back to elementary school at least. We were known to stick together in the big recess field in 4th grade. He's got a good heart, and he and I have shared many a good time. He’s very true to himself and encourages others to be by example. I'm happy to know him and always am happy to be around him.

Morgan and I have known each other since I first moved to Pensacola. Going to his house and playing Halo was one of my favorite things as a kid. He’s one of my best friends. I don’t think there is a time that he hasn’t been there for me. He has strong values and always wears a smile. If there's anyone that I know has my back, it's him. He's a good man.

Duncan is another man I have known since elementary school and before. Knowing him has been a pleasure from then on. He's a brilliant mind and a kind person, whether he’s dominating Smash tournaments, hosting great birthday parties with Nerf wars, or getting our group into new games. I'm glad we're friends.

Alden is someone I have shared many a good night with, anime drinking nights, Halloween parties, comic cons, or otherwise. He's someone who you never forget, and a kind man. Meeting him across the hall at UF, I knew we'd be friends pretty quickly. I'm happy we've remained so.

Nick is probably one of the smartest folks I know. He and I have shared great experiences, and I hope to share many more with him as time goes on. He's a very sweet person, and always has good suggestions on shows, movies, or manga series. Sharing the college experience with him was fantastic. I always look forward to hanging out with him

Lex is one of the most authentic, genuine people I know. All of the folks on my side of the wedding are, but Lex is something else. From a chance encounter in physics with a Soviet-born professor and a mutual friend in the dentistry school, Lex pretty quickly became a great friend. I'm very happy to call him a friend, and I'm always cheered up when he's around.
