Zac and Abbey met on August 4th, 2019 at a volunteer BBQ for church! Zac's roommate at the time was the high school pastor and invited him to come to the BBQ in hopes that he would want to join the team and volunteer. Zac wasn't expecting much until he met Abbey. He immediately spotted her from across the room and wanted to get to know her. He introduced himself to her and bonded with her over having the same sushi order at the local sushi restaurant called Blu Nami. Three months passed by before Abbey and Zac went on their first date. It wasn't until late November that Zac reached out to Abbey and asked if she would like to get coffee. Their first date was at Fourscore Coffee where they bonded over music, hobbies, food, etc. It wasn't long after that, that they fell head over heels for each other. Abbey decided long before she met Zac that she wasn't going to commit to a relationship till 2020, so Zac patiently waited for a month & 1/2 till New Years Eve at midnight to ask Abbey to be his girlfriend. After that, they dated for two-three months before quarantine started. Once quarantine hit, they grew closer than they ever thought they could! They quickly realized that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together after spending countless hours together with each other and their families during the shelter-in-place. Abbey never believed in "when you know, you know" until she knew. On June 5th, 2020 Zac asked Abbey to marry him and since then, they have been overwhelmed with gratitude for the support they have from their closest friends and family and how God has orchestrated their timeline so sweetly. We can't wait to celebrate their love and their story with you on November 15th, 2020!
