FAQs

Question

How can I RSVP?

Answer

RSVPs are CLOSED!! Please contact the bride and/or groom directly and we will see if we can accommodate.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is a mix of Lowcountry elegance and summer cocktail. Because it is July in South Carolina, we know it's going to be hot, so here are some recommendations if you need inspiration: - Light breathable fabrics (linen, chiffon, cotton blends, silk) - Earth tones, florals, and coastal neutrals - Flowy midi or maxi dresses - Dressy jumpsuits - Button-down shirts with dress pants - Jackets optional, ties optional (again, it's HOT)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we'd love to celebrate with everyone, our guest list is limited. We are only able to invite those listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore all of your children, we are only able to accommodate family only. We hope this allows you to relax and enjoy the evening with us.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking can be found all along the streets of downtown Beaufort or the Marina parking lot, and the venue is a short walk from these lots. However, if you choose to stay at the Beaufort Inn, parking will be free. Please keep in mind that parking could possibly be very limited due to the Water Festival, so plan accordingly and carpool if possible.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

No! The venue is a short walk from the Beaufort Inn and downtown parking lots, so no additional transportation will be provided.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony and time of worship will be on the large patio, and the reception will be inside the venue.

Question

What are we having for dinner?

Answer

We are so blessed to be served by A Stir from Heaven, a local catering company. Some things you can expect for dinner is Southern fried chicken, barbecue chicken, mac and cheese, and seasoned vegetables!

Question

Can I take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask to keep our ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking pictures or videos on your phones or other digital devices. Trust us--you'll love the professional photos we'll be sharing after the big day!

Question

What time is the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5 PM, with dinner and dancing to follow!

Question

Is alcohol present?

Answer

We will be having a dry ceremony and reception, so there will not be a bartender or alcohol at the wedding.
