FAQs

Montana does not belong to us - we belong to it. Don't be stupid.
Question

Will there be bears?

Answer

After getting this question about a dozen times from our NYC pals (s/o to Jenn Blatus and Big Mike) I figured I should post some general info about it. Bears are much more active in the fall as they are down lower eating and getting ready to hibernate. If you plan to go into the back country or hike on low volume trails please be sure to carry bear spray. You can learn more about coexisting with Grizzly Bears here: https://www.nps.gov/subjects/bears/safety.htm

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal for the wedding itself and cocktail attire for the welcome dinner. For our New York friends this means Montana cocktail (more casual than what you'd wear to an NYC cocktail reception) and for our Montana friends this means cocktail (more formal than what you'd wear normally).

Question

I've never been to Montana before!

Answer

We're so thrilled to share our love of this place with everyone. Remember to pack for any of the four seasons. Remember that Montana doesn't belong to us - we belong to it. You will no doubt run into wildlife. Do not be stupid.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We'd prefer if everyone stayed on site at Glacier Raft Company. You can book a room under our names. All you need to do is call to reserve: (406) 888-5454

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

August 6th

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space limitations we can not accommodate children at the welcome dinner or the reception.

Question

Where should I fly into?

Answer

Whitefish or Kalispell are the closest airports. I recommend doing whatever is cheapest.
