Jon and Abbey first met in March 2019 at their church. When they first started talking, they immediately realized that they both love so many of the same things: the Lord, the great outdoors, and the pursuit of adventure. God is truly so faithful in bringing them to each other, and they can’t wait to start their biggest adventure yet!

Jon asked Abbey to go watch the sunrise on the beach in the U.P. this past summer when they were on a mountain biking trip with friends. He proposed just as the sun was coming up and they were able to go celebrate with friends right after! Exactly a year before the proposal to the day, Jon and Abbey were on their first trip ever together and watched the sunset on that same exact beach.
