Things To Do

Below are some of the things we love to do in the Charlotte area. There is not much to do in Gastonia since it's a smaller town outside of Charlotte, but there is plenty to do in the surrounding areas!

U.S. National Whitewater Center

5000 Whitewater Center Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28214

The whitewater center has fun water and land activities for everyone! They also do river jam starting in May every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening. River Jam is free to attend and there is food and alcohol for purchase. You just have to pay for parking which is usually $6. They provide live music and it is so nice at sunset. Harris and I love to watch the tour groups that are white water rafting as they go by :)
