Mt. Zion Baptist Church
If you're looking for somewhere to attend church on Sunday we highly recommend Mt. Zion as it is only about 25 minutes from the venue. There are two services, one at 8:30 and the second at 11:00. The 8:30 service follows a more traditional style of worship, whereas the second service has a more contemporary style.
Gibbs Gardens
Visit Gibbs Gardens as they have meticulously maintained gardens to explore and relax in. They are open 9-4 and the cost to tour is $25 for adults and $10 for children. They will have dozens of Japanese Maples in color, Azaleas, wildflowers, and more to keep your attention for hours. It's truly a great place to decompress and wander through as you can soak in dozens of different gardens.
Amicalola Falls State Park
A great place to go hiking if you'd like to be out in nature!
Reformation Brewery (Canton)
Come out to wind down, have a beer, and play some games!
The Mill on Etowah
Unique atmosphere of a former textile mill renovated and turned into a shopping center. Attached to the same complex as Reformation Brewery and also features a green to play games on and hangout.
The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta
Wide variety of shops and food! Located off highway 575 and very easy to access. Only a few miles from downtown Woodstock as well.
Hickory Flat Kitchen
Offers Sunday brunch (starting at 11:00) with no buffet but a great menu to choose from.
Marlow's Tavern
Offers a Sunday brunch and buffet from 10:00-2:30.
