The Proposal in Capri, Italy

Joey proposed in Giardini di Augusto, the Gardens of Augustus, in Capri! Capri is a short ferri ride from Bacoli, where his family is from. We will also be excchanging vows with just our families present on the island right next to Capri: Ischia, in October. I had already planned on a visit to these gardens, so when Joey's secret photographer recommend this place for proposals - he knew it would be 'easy' to keep the surprise casual. He got down on one knee in front of passers-by, without me noticing the photographer following us. Everyone had phones & cameras out, here! Not suspiscious at all. He nailed the trip, the details, the photographer, and keeping that rocket-ship of a ring SAFE during international travel, etc. He nailed all the details...until it came to POPPING THE QUESTION. He froze, and didn't actually ask ;) It's a fun part of our story now. I whispered, "are you going to ask?". He stuttered, and whispered back, "just say yes, people are watching" ;)
