Answer

El Cardo

Question

What’s the wedding attire?

Answer

Ladies: Gowns or floor-length dresses are encouraged. We’re envisioning bright, colorful dresses with texture or prints. The reception will be in a tent on solid ground, so heels are fine if that’s what you prefer to wear! We kindly ask that ladies wear festive colors and avoid black dresses. Thank you for helping bring our colorful celebration to life! 🩷❤️🧡💛💚 Men: Think tuxedos or suits with a traditional or bolo tie. Preferable black or blue suit. Cowboy boots are welcomed. All: Cowboy/girl hats after ceremony if desired!

Question

What’s the weather going to be like?

Answer

Days: Warm and pleasant. Evenings: Chilly, make sure to bring a sweater or light jacket. Expect daytime highs around 65 to 75 and cool evenings dropping to roughly 45-55.

Question

How do you get around in San Miguel?

Answer

Most places are within walking distance of each other. Walking is our favorite mode of transportation in San Miguel! If you wish to hire a private driver, please go to our travel tab for a list of drivers provided by our wedding planner.

Question

What shoes should I bring?

Answer

For the ladies, you are good to wear heels if you please for the ceremony and reception. Gentlemen, please feel free to embrace the culture and wear your cowboy boots for wedding day. However, for walking around San Miguel during the day you should definitely wear comfortable shoes. The streets are all made of cobble stone and there are hills everywhere.
