Kristen and Abbey were Freshman year roommates at University of the Arts and have been friends ever since. She is a business owner and fitness expert, and lives in Rockaway NJ with her Husband Chris.

While Mike and Alex met one faithful night that including a bb gun; their friendship has grown over the decades and they’ve know each other for half their lives. His choice in sports teams: Dallas Cowboys, OSU, NY Jets leaves a lot to be desired.

Ashley and Abbey met at Achieve Physical Therapy through a partnership with a local dance studio and have been friends ever since. She is a Physical Therapist Assistant, and lives in Joliet IL with her husband Michael and two adorable golden retrievers.

Often cited as one of the smartest people Alex has ever met but with an attention span that makes Dori look like she has a photographic memory. They completed their respective residencies at University of Michigan at the same time.

Catherine and Abbey work together at Probility Physical Therapy. Catherine lives in Chelsea MI with her husband Karl and golden retriever Olive.

Alex starts all stories about Phil with “he ACCIDENTALLY graduated college in 3 years.” Phil put up living with Alex for 3 years in college and has many words of wisdom to pass on to Abbey.

Sam and Abbey met while taking coursework in Manual therapy and working at Probility. She is currently a Doctoral candidate/Athletic Trainer at Springfield College in MA.
Mat Wecharatana

Mat and Alex met the first day of college and bonded over having the same birthday, rooting for Duke basketball, being from NJ/NY. Over a decade later, they root for Michigan over Duke but not much else has changed.
Kayla McAlleenan

Kayla and her Husband, Geoff (the officiant) live close to the Bride and Groom and have spent many great times enjoying wonderful food and drinks together. She is a wonderful solace and good friend for Abbey while Alex and Geoff are going on endlessly about beer and/or whiskey!

Tom and Alex have shared many a pint over the years. He’s always available to lend a hand and can efficiently move you into your new house in less than 2 hours. Let the record show…rugby is a great game.

Lucy lives with Mom (Adrienne- sister of Bride) and Dad (Nelson- Brother in Law of Bride). She is a wonderful hider (hide and seek champion 2 years running), story book reader, artist (finger painting is on point), and singer. We all LOVE LUCY!

Charlie is one of Alex’s neighbors. Their first meeting led to the revelation that both their dogs are named Barley and Charlie’s wife is also named Alex. It was disappointing that Charlie’s name wasn’t Abbey but that would have been a little too perfect.

Steve and Alex met through Geoff, the officiant but have since bonded over sports, fine whiskey and the importance of dentists. If you need a free dental opinion while finding your seat, Steve DDS can help! (Kidding, please don’t do that)

John and Alex have known each other since college. They became friends over working together but truly bonded over countless B-Walls (if you know, you know).

Geoff and his wife Kayla are two of Alex’s closest friends and immediately thought Abbey was amazing. A close knit friendship between the four of them has blossomed since then and their son Jack often asks for “Uncle Alex and Aunt Abbey.”
