Is there anything I need to know about the airport?

Do not stop and talk to anybody in the airport between when you exit security and when you get to the bars outside--these are timeshare people expertly trained at manipulating you into attending timeshare seminars. Walk on by, do not make eye contact, do not feel bad.

Should I get the all-inclusive?
Answer
If you drink, 100% yes get it. If you do not drink, there are less expensive all inclusive meal-only options available. You're able to add these at the hotel when you check in.

How does tipping work?
Answer
At Solmar Resort, they will tell you that all tipping needs to be done on a credit card and that cash is not accepted. However, all of the workers will accept cash and prefer cash. We recommend bringing a good amount of tipping cash, as the service is the biggest perk of Solmar.

Can I have a plus one?

Can I bring my kid?

No, this is a child-free event. We want you to use us as an excuse to leave the kids at home and get away for the weekend! If that doesn't work out for you and your family, we completely understand if you can't make it.
