We are so excited to be holding our wedding at Pilgrim Park Camp (one of Ab’s childhood camps!), in Princeton, IL. We hope to give everyone the true summer camp experience, which is why we ask that guests arrive for dinner on Friday, August 29 and stay through breakfast on Monday, September 1. Chicago has two major airports: O'Hare International Airport (ORD) Midway International Airport (MDW) Lodging will be provided for all guests on the Campgrounds. Accommodations vary and will be assigned with accessibility needs and age in mind. Please note in the RSVP if you require accommodations. Princeton is a small, rural town ~2 hours from Chicago via car. We advise guests to stay on the Campgrounds the entire weekend. If you need to run an errand, we suggest travelling to the suburb of Peru, ~25 minutes drive from Camp.

Travel Note

Traveling Internationally

We are so fortunate to have friends traveling in from all over the world! If you are traveling internationally we recommend flying into Chicago on August 28 and spending a night in the city in case your flight experiences any delays. We will organize transport from Chicago to Camp on August 29 and from Camp back to Chicago on September 1 for international guests. Please make sure to check the ‘International Guest’ box on your RSVP if you’d like transport! If traveling from the UK: For short visits (tourism or business for up to 90 days), British citizens can travel to the United States visa-free under the Visa Waiver Program, but they must obtain an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) prior to travel.

Travel Note

Traveling While Trans (International)

As I'm sure folks are aware, the US is a dumpster fire of bigoted policies right now. Currently, those policies seem to only affect US residents and those applying for 90+ day visas. If you are traveling from a country that does not require a visa for a short visit (like the UK), our understanding is the US cannot demand any changes of your international passport. All US airports will require you to go through TSA (Transportation Security Administration) and customs. TSA typically involves walking through a security scanner and sending your luggage through another. If you are trans (and binding or packing), it is possible that when you walk through the security scanner an “anomaly” will appear on the x-ray screen. If this happens, TSA will pull you aside for a quick pat down. Typically, you can request the gender of who you'd like to perform the pat down. Trans folks who have traveled through O’Hare Airport since the policy changes have not reported experiencing any new/additional issues. Please reach out with any questions or concerns!

For all the days along the way
