October 2018: Joseph and Alexis met through a mutual friend at lunch. May 2019: They ran the same race in Portland and said "good job" to each other. December 2019: Danced at Bushwhackers and talked a little more. April 2020: Joseph posted a picture of Tiny Tim (a little goat) that stole Alexis's heart before Joseph did. May 2020: They had virtual coffee and talked for hours! June 26th, 2020: Their first official date, mini golfing; Joseph won, but Alexis still liked him and wanted to date him. July 2020: God called Alexis to move to Waco, Texas to be a COVID nurse, and called Joseph to move to Beaumont, Texas to work at Lamar University for a Graduate Assistantship. Although both in Texas, they dated long distant for about a year. August 2021: Alexis moved to Beaumont because she didn't like long distance and missed Joseph. May 2022: Joseph graduated from his graduate assistantship with his Masters in Nutrition. June 2022: Alexis and Joseph moved back to Oregon to be close with family again. May 20th 2023: Alexis said YES! to marrying Joseph!
