While we have known each other since elementary school, we became best friends in our 12th grade ceramics class. One thing led to another and eleven years later... here we are!

Aashna thought they were taking sailing lessons in Sausalito. To her surprise, they were the "only" ones to sign up for the experience that day, so they ended up having the whole boat to themselves! The captain of the boat doubled as a photographer and was periodically "taking photos of the boat and clients to promote his business". When they got to the Golden Gate Bridge, Ben got down on one knee, briefly forgot what to say, and finally popped the question! After they got back to the dock, Ben took Aashna to a restaurant overlooking the water and surprised her yet again by having their families and friends there to celebrate! It was the most perfect day.
