A simple Dil Mil swipe in 2018 started the love story between Aashlin and Sanju. Online dating was uninspiring, for Aashlin and Sanju; they always dreamed of meeting their "person" through an extraordinary experience. Little did they know, modern dating would be the vessel that connected their souls. After multiple texts & calls, Aashlin and Sanju yearned to finally meet in person. Sanju took Aashlin on their first date in New York City. From online to in real life, their chemistry sparked into an engulfing ember of love that beautiful evening. Unbeknownst to either of them, Sanju and Aashlin’s first date and forever date was sealed under the Rockefeller Christmas Tree.

Three years and many extraordinary experiences later, on March 26, 2021, Sanju was ready to ask Aashlin to marry him. With the help of Aashlin's sister Shalin, his sister Sonia, and his best man Shibin, the Liberty State Park was secured for this momentous occasion. With the bright New York Sky Line in the background, the Earth covered in a beautiful bed of roses, and surrounded by pictures of their past dates in view, the moment was near. As they were walking toward the bed of roses, Sanju expressed his feelings on how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Aashlin. In that moment, Sanju got down on one knee and proposed to Aashlin.
