In the middle of the pandemic, Aarti accepted an offer to go to law school in New Orleans. Little did she know that she would meet the love of her life in the Big Easy.

In an effort to navigate the city and make some friends, Aarti decided to download Hinge. Several days on the app and she swiped right on a handsome stranger. Luckily he swiped right back!

Palvin couldn't believe his luck. He got matched with the most beautiful girl he had ever seen! As they texted back and forth, Aarti and Palvin realized that they had a lot more in common than they imagined. The two bonded over their love of Harry Potter and Marvel, along with their hatred of ketchup and mayonnaise. That Sunday, Palvin asked Aarti out to meet him for dinner, to which she emphatically agreed, mostly due to the promise of food. Their first date was at Blue Giant, a cozy Chinese restaurant in the area with some of the best food in the city!

The two shared many experiences and tried many different things together. Palvin is a practicing attorney, and Aarti is a law student. Although both of them are busy with work and school obligations, they always find free time together, enjoying new restaurants in New Orleans, tasting wines, watching new movies, and attending Pelicans games together!

Palvin knew that Aarti was the one. He had been planning to propose to her for months! And Aarti was none the wiser. During winter break, Aarti was on a family vacation in Cancun which Palvin joined. During one of the nights, Palvin took Aarti out to dinner at a beautiful beachfront restaurant. The two sipped glasses of champagne while looking at the sunset. That night could not have been more perfect. As Palvin stepped out for a moment, Aarti was still admiring the view. All of a sudden, the manager of the restaurant stated that Palvin had a surprise in store. The manager proceeded to blindfold Aarti and guide her through the sand. Aarti didn't know what to expect but she assumed the worst. However, after lifting the blindfold she could not believe what she saw...

Aarti saw the most beautiful setup and she was close to fainting. A beautiful display with the words, "Marry Me" were displayed. Palvin got down on one knee and the rest is history! Thank you for reading our story!
