Their story began in January 2018. Their first meeting wasn’t some casual coffee date or love at first sight in the dairy aisle of a grocery store, but a new age dating app match encounter on Dil Mil. Aarti and Nir cherish early morning sunrises and the mountains because it brought them peace. Nir then knew that he had to propose to Aarti with a scenery that embodied just that. With the help of their friends and thousands of rose petals, Nir surprised Aarti by asking her to be his forever at the top of the Craggy Pinnacle mountain in Asheville. Nir tricked Aarti into getting all dressed up to do a sunrise photoshoot with his tripod. While Aarti was hiking in a dress and heels to catch the sunrise, something more than a tripod photoshoot was awaiting her. Just as the sun was rising, Nir got down on one knee to pop the question.
