What kind of Indian clothes should I type as keywords?

Suggested: Women: Lehanga, salwaar, anarkali, Indowestern,Saree. (Saree most difficult to wear and Anarkali easiest to wear) please make sure that you are getting the sewing part taken care of on the website/shop. Mens: Kurta, Sherwani.

What do I wear for the Reception party?

Suggested outfit is Indian wedding guest/party outfits. Color of you choice. Wedding colors are Blue-White-Gold.

Do I have to wear an Indian outfit?

Answer

You don't have to wear an Indian outfit, any modest party clothes/semi formal/formal outfit is totally fine. for example, for Women: party/evening dress, for Men : suits. We just want you to have a good time 😀

Any decorum for the Hindu Cultural Center to be respectful of?

Answer

Alcohol and non vegetarian food is not permitted on premises. Smoking on premises is not permitted.

Do we have any rooms blocked at hotels nearby?

Answer

For Hotel Booking: We have blocked a few rooms at the Fairfield Inn on Wolf Rd, very close to the Albany Airport and the Hindu Temple. Rooms must be reserved by April 21, 2023 to get the group price. Please see the link below:
