How did we get so lucky as to cross paths with two people starting on opposite coasts? Well, to start Aaron was working as an electrical engineer in Richmond, VA after graduating from Virginia Tech. Zoe was towards the end of her occupational therapy grad program in Radford, VA. Back in October 2019, Zoe was visiting Richmond for the weekend, and out of (the best) chance Zoe met Aaron through mutual friends. They bonded over their passion for travel, followed by dancing away at a nearby salsa club. When Zoe returned to school, they would talk for hours on the phone and look forward to any time to spend together again. By December, they were official and took their first big trip to New York City to celebrate the new year 2020. In the following years, Aaron and Zoe's love grew as they spent their time together with friends and family, traveling and trying out new restaurants everywhere they went. Whether it be a simple walk in the park, visiting a winery, dying each other's hair vibrant colors (during COVID times, of course), or visiting family out of the country there are so many wonderful memories together. On October 13th, 2023 Aaron, impressively covering up his elaborate planning, proposed on the rocks by the lake in Central Park, NYC. Disguised as a fun birthday weekend, Aaron was able to keep the surprise up until the last minute! We are so blessed to have found each other and the love we share as best friends and soon-to-be husband and wife. We can't wait to celebrate with our friends and family! We truly appreciate everyone who has been a part of our journey together.
