We first met in sixth grade when we were cast as King and Queen Celeste in the play "If the Shoe Fits." Elizabeth thought Aaron was so cute, and loved dancing with him in the ballroom scene. She'll never forget calling him "Pookie" in the play. Little did they know the wrinkles painted on their face were a foreshadowing of what the future would hold. Seven years later, during their senior year, Aaron and Elizabeth were cast as Danny and Sandy in Grease. Naturally, they fell in love, and you know the rest.
Aaron took Elizabeth on a beautiful hike to Lake Isabel in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. When they got to the lake, Aaron said he wanted to find a spot that was a little more private. They found an area around some trees and bushes with rocks to sit on along the water. Elizabeth sat down to eat a snack, but Aaron said he wanted to take some photos first. He asked her to face the mountains for a couple "candid" photos, and then when he asked her to turn around, he was holding the ring on one knee. Before he could even get a word out, Elizabeth brought him up and started hugging him. He said "you didn't even let me ask the question!" Her answer was obvious.
