Come by for a reception to open our weekend festivities in the new lobby of Chicago’s most iconic theater. Cocktails, heavy appetizers, food stations, and desserts. Attire: smart casual (whatever you’d wear to the theatre...we will be at Steppenwolf, after all!) Parking: complimentary parking will be available in Steppenwolf’s parking garage, entrance just south of the theatre at 1624 N. Halsted Street. If a parking attendant is on duty, please inform them that you are here for our reception. The garage does not have an elevator. For vehicles displaying disability placards or plates, there are five accessible parking spaces in the valet parking lot at 1700 N. Halsted Street, just north of the theater. Upon arrival, enter through the Ensemble Theatre Entrance at 1646 North Halsted Street.

We fell in love with Maxwells Trading after celebrating Aaron’s birthday here in October 2024. We know you’ll fall in love too! Our ceremony, dinner, dancing, and more will all happen at this gorgeous, delicious, and vibey restaurant. The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. Attire: cocktail. A little sparkle is encouraged! Parking: there is limited free street parking surrounding the restaurant, and please note we cannot park in the large lot on the building’s east side. Upon arrival, enter through the door on North Justine Street (around the corner from the restaurant’s main entrance), and take the elevator to the second floor.

If you’d like to come say farewell, we will be having brunch at Cabra. You are welcome to make a reservation around 11 a.m. and request to be near our table. If you can’t make it to brunch, we’ll be hanging around the Hoxton lobby just before and after we eat. Note: reservations for Sunday, August 9 open approximately 30 days prior in early July via OpenTable.
