Aaron and Whitney grew up together through middle school and high school where they established a life-long friendship. Upon high school graduation, Aaron went to Iowa State University and Whitney went to The University of Northern Iowa. Whitney moved to Colorado in 2015 and after a couple years moved back to Iowa to live in Des Moines. Finally back in the same city, Aaron and Whitney reconnected and their friendship evolved into what will soon become a beautiful marriage.
