Aaron moved to Phoenix in February of 2016 to work at Vanguard; later that year Victoria would do the same. Vanguard really invested in their future together by pairing Victoria with Aaron as her trainer while she was onboarding. After a first date of ice cream cookie sandwiches and watching Dirty Grandpa, the couple quickly bonded over their love of dogs (grumpy Leo approved of Aaron right away). There were many dog park dates that followed where Leo, Lady and Buddy became a pack and the five soon-to-be O'Connors became inseparable.

Aaron and Victoria enjoy long, romantic walks down the aisles of TJ Maxx, sampling new sparkling wines (a hobby that started when they were celebrating making it through each day of the pandemic lockdown), golfing, letting Buddy pick the movie from a jar for random movie nights, and traveling (them: Hawaii, her: Disney, dogs: roadtrips to their grandparents).
