Portland is very walkable and well connected by bus, light rail (MAX), and street car. We recommend using public transit, local cab (Radiocab: 503-227-1212) or Lyft / Uber to get around while you are here. However, if you plan to visit the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon Co/ast or wine country while here, you'll want to rent a car.
