We are doing a buffet style dinner with two options: brown stew chicken and seafood pasta. There will also be pasta without seafood for guests who do not enjoy seafood. Sides include Caesar salad, vegetable medley, roasted red potatoes, and corn bread. If you dietary restrictions & have not reached out to Aaron or Valerie directly, please do so ASAP.
When RSVPing there is a slot to mention dietary restrictions. With that said, we want everyone well fed! If there are dietary restrictions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Aaron or Val.
Aaron and I would like everyone in something that makes them look and feel good! We see this as an opportunity to get dressed up and celebrate with the people we love. Our wedding color is green and we’re hoping the florals bring bright pinks, oranges, and reds (think sunset colors). But there is no set color you have to wear! We want you in nice, comfortable clothes that will keep you warm & allow for dancing!
The ceremony and happy hour will be outdoors. The reception will be a mix of indoors and outdoors. February in North Carolina can be extremely unpredictable! Forecast has been 50s-60s with a chance for rain. We will have space heaters going (if needed) but please check the weather & dress accordingly. Also, if you have luggage space, bring a blanket/quit to stay warm during the ceremony. Valerie’s grandmother was a seamstress (retired) & most of her family members own a handmade quilt(s). Seeing guests staying warm in quilts that mean something to them during the ceremony would bring her so much joy!
The venue site has plenty of parking. Guest parking is located at the front of the property. Simply follow the posted signs upon arrival to the designated parking area. We suggest you carpool to make things smoother/if you plan on drinking. There is no shuttle service provided.
No. Given there will be multiple hotel options in the area that guest will choose from, we will not have a designated shuttle. Ride sharing services may be an option but please note Lillington, NC is a smaller town.
Yes, we will have a local selection of beer, cider, and wine available. Additionally, there will be two signature cocktails for guest to choose from.
Great question! If we have included a plus one on your invitation/RSVP, we'd love to have your guest at our event! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you do not bring additional guests. Due to our venue capacity and budgetary constraints we are unable to accommodate additional quests. We appreciate your understanding! And look forward to celebrating with you! If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Aaron or Valerie.
While we do have an online registry, we will have a designated gift/thank you card area at the reception if you would prefer that option.
There will be a self serve water, lemonade, and tea table!
This is a kid friendly wedding! All parents should see their children’s name on the RSVP list. With that said, if your little one requires a high chair/booster for meals, please bring one! Also, know they will have the same dinner option as adults but our hope is they will be fine with the pasta (essentially a white sauce Mac & cheese) option & veggies! We also make sure there are plenty of non-alcoholic drink options for them! If you need a moment to breastfeed, change a diaper or wrangle a tired child, the grooms suite (through the reception all, far back right door) will be available for just this purpose as soon as the ceremony officially starts.
The deadline to RSVP is December 28, 2025. Deadline extended to January 3, 2026 given the delay in sending out the official invitation. Please reach out to Aaron/Val if you anticipate any delays in meeting this deadline.
RSVP exclusively online through this webpage. If you are having any difficulties please don’t hesitate to contact Aaron or Valerie for assistance.
