Tamara and Aaron met on Hinge in May 2023 after Tamara swiped right on Aaron, or so he says. Aaron asked Tamara out for coffee in Coronado and Tamara initially agreed. However, Tamara didn't really want to go. She was tired of dating in San Diego and didn’t want to be disappointed again. So, she made up an excuse that her friend, Olivia, got a flat tire on her way back from Los Angeles and Tamara had to pick her up. Aaron called out her excuse and told her he knew she was lying. So Tamara, having been called out, agreed to reschedule. The next day they met for their Coronado coffee date and walked along they bay, around downtown Coronado, then along the beach. They walked and talked for so long that 8 hours had passed since starting their date. They only realized the time once the sun started to set. In fact, they enjoyed each other's company so much that they both agreed to finish their date with the sunset at the beach. Since then, they have been inseparable. ♡

Fourth of July 2023 was a special holiday weekend for Tamara and Aaron. It was the first time Tamara was introduced to Aaron's family. He was eager to introduce her to everyone and see how she would act around his family. To him, this was more than an introduction—it was a test. Aaron had been raised to value family above all else. Holidays weren't just celebrations; they were a chance to have loved ones over for drinks, excellent food, and quality time together. So, it was very important to Aaron that Tamara fit into this world. Despite her nerves, Tamara met Aaron's first cousins and aunts on his mother's side. She did her best and eased her way into the family dynamic. As the afternoon wore on, Aaron couldn't stop thinking about how lucky he was to have a girlfriend who fit in so effortlessly. All his life, he had been surrounded by love, kindness, and selflessness, thanks to his family. More importantly, Tamara seemed to embody the very values instilled in him—love, kindness, and selflessness. On that Fourth of July, Aaron knew without a doubt that he would marry Tamara.
