Shhh I'll tell you a secret; Taisje loves to win and is very competitive. Well, she met her match when she matched with Aaron on Hinge. The couple bonded over their love for movies, games and most importantly their love for family. A theme that has continued for the couple as they have orchestrated amazing date nights to restaurants like La Scala, maneuvered through job changes, as if they were GoKarting at Autobahn and experienced the pain of losing loved ones. Through it all this couple has supported each other and now they take on their biggest challenge. SAYING I DO. On May 1, 2025, two competitors will officially become one team.
What was your most memorable date? Aaron: The Spy Museum, it was the date we got to talk and walk and, truly get to know each other. We realized that we had some similarities when it came to how our grandparents helped raise us. Taisje: Aaron really surprised me on our first date to Board Room DC. Not only did he remember I enjoy playing board games, but he also arrived with food from my favorite Indian restaurant. Although Aaron got us kicked out for bringing wine into the establishment, it was definitely my favorite date in life. His thoughtfulness and attention to detail in getting to know me really made a lasting impression. By the way, I'm pretty sure we're banned from Board Room DC following this date. What's your favorite activity to do with each other? Aaron: Watch Love is Blind because it sparks some really interesting conversations around relationships. Taisje: Debating over every little thing, while binge watching Love Is Blind & trying new restaurants in the DMV. What's one thing you want your future spouse to remember ahead of saying "I Do"? Aaron: I want Taisje to remember that I am always here to support, cheer, champion and fight for her every day. Taisje: As we're prepping for our wedding, I hope Aaron remembers the special times we've shared together over the course of our relationship. From the first time we met, to our lively discussions at new restaurants to this very day I didn't know would come. The good times and challenging times have helped us grow into who we are today....and for that I'm thankful for him.
