Wow, so things got really crazy after the bachelor/bachelorette in New Orleans. So much has changed and yet a lot of things are still the same. Stacy and I still live in San Francisco with the lovely Cusco and we are still getting married in Morgan Hill. However, we now have new jobs and a new apartment, and we’re going to spring for the late night food option. We’re sure many things have changed for you as well (in fact some of you have now beaten us to the altar). Though one thing that hasn’t changed is that you’re all still invited to our wedding. For those of you who want an update on what’s happened in the world of Aaron and Stacy over the last two years, here’s a quick rundown: -We almost completed one jigsaw puzzle -We bought a car (maybe you’ll get to see it in Morgan Hill) -We moved apartments (down one floor) -We got new jobs (still in tech) -We got Cusco a taco truck -We spent way more time in Napa (still know nothing about wine) -We went on our first trip ever to Hawaii with some of our closest friends (and then we went back a year later) -We cooked more homemade meals than we had in every year leading up to 2020 -We both turned 30 (this one hurts a bit) And lastly, we are finally about to get married! Yes, it’s true. We are still in love with each other after more than a decade together. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you soon! Cheers, Cusco (author), Aaron & Stacy
While Stacy and I knew each other as early as high school, we really didn't get to truly know each other until college. We started dating while home for the summer and haven't looked back. We got our first taste of cohabitation when we spent a semester abroad in London. Surviving 6 months in a closet-sized flat was when I truly realized this relationship was meant to last. After school, we moved into an apartment together in Boston. Excited for adulthood, we made our first major decision as a couple and adopted a kitten. And with that, we were set to live our dream lives in our dream city. And then...Stacy's work relocated her to San Francisco. Driven by my devotion to Stacy (and inability for either of us to part with our new kitten), I found a job in SF and made the move with her. And since then we've been able to live our new dream lives in our dream city. And now 9 years after our relationship began, we have decided to officially commit to never waking up from this dream. I'm watching football as I write this and I'm not sure if it really makes sense. However, it is very corny and tells a nice story (and true) story of me and Stacy.
