We probably saw each other countless times while both on campus at UIndy, but didn't formally meet until Sarah was coaching girls from Roncalli on a club team and we discovered our mutual love for Quest bars in Aaron's office one day. Sarah left a (used) wrapper in his mailbox one day and the rest, as they say, is history.

Aaron waited until Sarah's favorite holiday, in her favorite place: Long Beach over the 4th of July. He inconspicuously talked her into buying a white dress while shopping a few days before heading home for the holiday, and then somehow convinced her that planning a family dinner after a day at the beach was normal. Aaron was very pushy about making Sarah actually shower and get ready and then suggested a walk on the beach. As they approached a spot with scattered rose petals, Missy popped up out of the beach grass and captured Aaron down on one knee, saying what were sure to be really nice things that no one actually remembers. Sarah said yes, Dave and Jill walked up from down the beach and everyone popped some champagne to celebrate!
