From Sarah...

"Me and Aaron first met on a Wednesday night youth group. Aaron was one of those guys in middle school that was untouchable, he was like youth group royalty. It's intresting because we had all the same friends (even some "dating" situations) but me and Aaron never got super close. He was the one person who I feel like the Lord protected me from until the right time. I think if we became close friends in middle school we wouldn't be getting married now. It wasn't until highschool that we had more opprotunity to become closer friends. It was evident very shortly into us being close friends that this guy was my best friend and I wasn't sure I could live my life without him. Aaron was cautious, he wouldn't even side hug me for a long time, we laugh about that now. My 15th birthday we went walking on the beach (which was a big deal at the time that he was willing to even be alone with me), he told me then that he liked me and saw a future with me. Between then and now, we have had the best memories of my life so far. Growing up with Aaron has been a great joy of my life. We have walked through so many monumental moments, starting our first jobs, getting our drivers license, graduating highschool, having hard conversations, starting our carrers, laughing until I literally pee my pants, and then getting engaged. I can confidently say that I will never be the same after Aaron."

From Aaron...

It started like an English novel. We shared friends, parties, and trips. In essence, we shared the most impactful times of our adolescence. Yet, we neglected to choose each other until our early high school years fostered the environment for our friendship to transform into a lasting love. In every season of life, in every step of the way, our deep friendship and our dedication to the Lord has remained at the center of our relationship. Now, we are adults with careers, education, and residence. We are leaders, shepherds, and teachers. But at the core of our relationship are two friends who commit to fill their lives with love, worship, rest, and fun!
