Why did you change venues?

Answer

Our previous venue, the M.V. SKansonia, is a boat that is permanently moored on Lake Union. Unfortunately, over the weekend it took on a great deal of water and is currently not safe to host events on. The show goes on though, and we are happy to announce we will now be getting married at the Fremont Foundry! It is a ~10 minute drive from our previous venue. Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

On-site parking is available. There is a paid lot attached to the venue, and another one behind it.

Will weather impact the ceremony?

Answer

We are planning to hold our ceremony outside, though Seattle temperatures change quickly so please check the forecast and dress accordingly. If it is too rainy to hold the ceremony outside, we have a plan for an indoor ceremony instead. All other events will be held indoors regardless of weather.

Your presence alone is a gift to us, though if you are interested in something more we have put together a registry.

Should I go to all the receptions?

Answer

If you like! We would love to celebrate with you, and know that travelling can be complicated, so are hosting receptions around the world to try to celebrate with as many family and friends as we can. Please feel free to attend any events that are convenient and make sense for you. There is no expectation that anyone goes to more than 1 event, but we'd always love to party with you more :)
