We are hosting a Chinese wedding banquet in downtown Toronto to celebrate our wedding. Aaron was born in Toronto, and has much of his dad's family lives there, so we're excited to celebrate with family and friends in his birthplace! This venue is also where Aaron's parents were married, so this location is extra special to us. Please avoid wearing all black or all white, as these are traditionally inauspicious colors. Additionally, please avoid wearing all red, as that is traditionally reserved for the bride
12:00 pm
Sarah's brother Ethan and his wife Hannah are also getting married this year, so we are hosting a joint lunch reception to celebrate both marriages! Sarah and Ethan have a lot of extended family in the midwest, and spent many happy summers playing with cousins in Minnesota, so we are excited to bring the party to a park in front of their grandma's home! We will be at a park, so casual dress and lawn games are encouraged. In the case of bad weather, we have a room reserved in the Orchard Path living facility right next door.

Aaron lived in Hong Kong for several years in highschool, and spent a lot of time there visiting his mom's family growing up. Hong Kong holds a special place in both of our hearts, and we're so excited to celebrate with friends and family there, and introduce our US friends to the city! Our event is in the garden lounge of the Hong Kong Club. If arriving by MTR (the HK subway system), this venue is immediately next to the Central stop. Taxi's and Ubers are also very convenient option! The venue has a strict dress code, that requires slacks or dresses (no shorts), collared shirts for men, no tennis shoes. We also ask that you avoid wearing all black or all white, as these are traditionally inauspicious colors, as well as all red which is traditionally reserved for the bride.
