FAQs

The Wedding Website of Rachael Seager and Aaron Schonfeld
Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our event is Semi-formal. More formal than what you would wear to an office, but slightly less formal than what you would wear to a formal event. Women should wear a nice cocktail dress, day dress, or dressy separates/pantsuit. Men can wear a business suit or a dress shirt and slacks (a tie being optional). Please refrain from wearing any white, ivory, or champagne.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The wedding is set in late October and will have an outdoor ceremony (weather permitted). Please be prepared for cold or rainy weather. You may want to bring an umbrella or rain coat based on the weather prediction.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both are taking place at Bucks Run Golf Course in Mt. Pleasant MI. Please see the Schedule page for the full address.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Please plan accordingly for an outdoor ceremony (weather permitted). The reception will take place indoors.

Question

Where should I go when I get to the venue?

Answer

Please head directly to the outdoor ceremony space. It is to the left of the building. There will be an arch and chairs overlooking the lake.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall or patio where we will be serving hor d'oevres and beverages.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is free. You are able to park right outside the main doors of the venue. The ceremony space is to the left of the main building. Please head there first before going into the reception space.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation

Question

What if a plus one/guest is invited but I don't plan on bringing someone?

Answer

If a guest is listed on your invitation and you don't plan on bringing someone, please RSVP no on the guest option. That way we can get a more accurate guest count

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We are not having a hotel block for guests. However, there are plenty of places to stay nearby the venue if you are looking to do so.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please have all RSVPs completed by OCT 1st. All RSVPs are completed online. Please go to RSVP tab and follow instructions on that page. If you have any questions please contact schonfeldwedding@gmail.com for assistance.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered on Amazon and Target. Use Rachael Seager and Aaron Schonfeld in the name search to locate. Or use the registry tab where the links are located.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We would love to see all of your photos! It is not an unplugged ceremony. We have hired professionals, so please use your best judgement and be respectful when taking photos. (aka don't stick your phone in the middle of the aisle)

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Within one week of the wedding, you can contact me via email. Use schonfeldwedding@gmail.com . Please do not contact me the week of the wedding. Thank you!
