Our bridal party has played a huge role in our lives and will play a huge role in our wedding day celebrations. So here is a special section dedicated to those who have acted as a support system and an extra set of hands ; ) There are some you know, and some you may have never met, so we want to take the time to introduce you to our bridal party, and share some info on how they fit in to our lives. We are so appreciative and grateful for you all.

Briana Foster Sims

Matron of Honor

Briana’s a devoted daughter, sister, wife to Marvin Jr, mother to her bonus child Elijah & dog Rio. Her faith is a crucial cornerstone to her daily life. She enjoys seeking new adventures; traveling to 15 countries, the wanderlust of exploring new lands and beautiful cultures. She’s volunteered abroad in Costa Rica and Peru having the opportunity to work in London and travel throughout Europe. She obtained a Bachelor’s in Political Science at the University of CU Boulder, and Master’s in Healthcare Administration. She’s currently a rising leader at Rose Medical Center as Director of Supply Chain Operations. Memories: Scaring her sister with fish, International adventures, watching Disney movies. Skills: Fiscally responsible, ordering a vodka cranberry (hold the vodka) Bride’s Sister

Candi Anthony

Calandra, affectionately known as Candi, is a quiet soul with a loud imagination. Voted “Most Likely to Become a Writer” by her Gateway senior class, no surprise she became a journalist. Earning a bachelor’s degree in communication from CU Denver, she has served as the Aurora Public Schools’ Communication Specialist for the past 15 years. Her true joys lie in laughing with her husband Langston, cuddling her prickly lizard and appeasing her undying spirit of wanderlust. Her perspective that we are all just spirits having a human experience makes her an empathetic humanitarian passionate about social justice. Memories: Summer rides, holding her hand as a small girl, ER visit, & attending listening parties Skills: Can devour a dozen Cinnabons (extra frosting, of course) Bride’s Cousin

Alisha Wallace

Alisha Ann was born in Denver, Co in Spring of ‘89. During her childhood she was a member of the Jefferson County High School Rodeo Team & Westernaires. Graduating from Wheat Ridge High School in ‘07 she went on to earn her Colorado Pro Rodeo Card in Barrel Racing with her horse Cash. Alisha was the only African American Cowgirl from Colorado to compete in the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo at the National Western Stock Show in 2013. Want to know Alisha’s future? You will have the opportunity to meet her at the wedding. Memories: Went bald on first encounter. First impression is definitely a lasting one. Endless turn-up sessions, adventures and by far the best “hype woMan” known to man. Skills: recite movie classics, makes you laugh, and life of party. Groom’s Cousin

Megan Wallace

Megan is a Colorado native. She attended K-12 within a two mile radius of her home. Later, Megan graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with Honors receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and Counseling. After college, Megan moved to North Dakota where she participated in the grand opening of a Level One Trauma Hospital (Sanford Health), and got certified in Hospital Emergency Preparedness. Megan currently resides in Michigan where she lives with her soulmate Kyle and 2 kitties, working for an international company (A Place for Mom). Memories: Rocky Mountain road trips, dancing like no one is watching, campfire s’more roasting, endless sleepovers and vino sipping. Skills: makes a mean cup-o-Joe, phenomenal baker, crafty and loves reading. Groom’s Sister

Jeremy Wallace

Best Man

Jeremy is a Denver Native who attended George Washington High School and Johnson and Wales University. After graduating, he became an accomplished accountant, especially proud of that fact. He is also proud of being a mentor, success in the accounting industry and how strong his family is. He hopes to one day get married and start a family of his own. Memories from the Groom: An older cousin to follow around as a child, to model mannerisms. Learning the best dance moves to pull out at a wedding. Mortal Kombat video games and learning to mock the announcer's sound effects. Skills: Reciting classic movies, riding the groom on the front of a bike.

August Burrell

August was born and resides in Denver, in a recently purchased condo with his wife Tanesha. He attended Overland High School for 3 years, finishing at Fairview in Boulder. He is currently a truck driver and coordinator for Iron Mountain. He loves music, from its vibrant sounds to its spiritual nurturing! He is a man of God and will continue to grow for his own wellness as well as supporting his wife and family! His lifetime goal is to find fulfillment, purpose, and seek light and wisdom for his manifestation! He is a man who loves all and wants the best for everyone. Memories: Hanging out in the hallways of OHS. Recording tracks on the keyboard, freestyling. Burning mixtapes with no label to head out for the night. Madden tournaments in the upstairs bedroom Skills: Beatboxing, poplocking

Memories: Countless buddy passes to anywhere at anytime. Running the same play with Vince Young 100 times in a row on NCAA '04. Losing his mind when he couldn't spend the night with friends. Skills: Savage competitor on the foosketball court. Trained stuntman when the bottle rocket starts heading back to earth.

Josh Jordan

Groomsman

Josh is originally from Ohio but moved to Colorado, eventually sharing a room and bunk beds with the Groom. Josh graduated from Colorado State University and went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from George Washington University in 2011. He currently resides in Fargo, North Dakota with his wife Ivy and is currently working to adjust to the colder temperatures. Memories from the Groom: Matchbox cars on the floor of the room where we were too big for bunkbeds. NBA Jam in the bedroom full of University of Michigan fan gear. Blazing the trail for Jordan shoes, clothes to match at an OCD level, and old school cars that took way too much money to fix up. Skills: Master ductape escape artist.

Keson Drayton

Groomsman

Keson was raised at 38th and Yonkers, just down the street from the Bodega his cousin owned and operated. He soon moved to Denver, CO in the summer of '89 at the age of two. He attended Overland High School, later graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honors from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in Dec. 2010. He is currently employed in the engineering industry, since 2013. Keson started a business with his cousin, Pauper Prince Production Ltd in Jan. 2016. He acquired his Drone Pilot license the summer of 2017 and is now a certified pilot by the FAA. Memories from the Groom: Freshman weight training class, until he tore his pectoral muscle. Ms. Wooden's math class. Madden rushing attack for hours. Skills: Picking the worst time to play Ginuwine - Pony

Desmond Tucker

Desmond Tucker was born Bossier City, Louisiana and raised in the Mile High City. Desmond has attended numerous educational institutions, graduating with his Bachelors in Science in Business Analysis with an emphasis in project management from American Military University. Desmond prides himself on legacy, tradition, and is a proud member of the United States Air Force. His quest in life is a search for unconditional understanding, Love, and Peace. Memories from the Groom: Learning eachother's name from tape on the front of football helmets freshman year. Not doing a single thing in study hall class. Dribbling down the halls of Overland High School. Laughing until tears because he didn't want to drive us around Atlanta anymore. Skills: Quickest to take his shirt off in the rental truck.
