Want to make this part of a longer trip to New York City? Great! If you don't want to stay in or near Rockaway Beach, even from the furthest stop the A Train (with the Rockaway Park Shuttle) can have you at the wedding site in under two hours. During the Summer, the shuttle is extended so you can catch it anywhere between Rockaway Blvd. and Broad Channel. We know it sounds confusing but we promise we'll help. Check the FAQ closer to the wedding date for more information on getting there once you are in New York City. If you are interested in going the AirBnB route, again anywhere along the A line will work, but for the wedding site itself you will want to search near Beach 79th Street in Rockaway Beach, Queens. The wedding is not far from JFK Airport and there are a number of nearby hotels that offer shuttle service. If you have any questions about these, please let us know. Subway

The NYC subway is a miracle of moving people. Coming from outside of Rockaway you'll take the A train to Rockaway Blvd and switch to Rockaway Park Shuttle. The closest subway stop is at Beach 90th Street. If you're traveling light, a Far Rockaway bound A train can bring you closer, but in general it travels further east on the peninsula. Get off the Beach 67th street and it's only a 20 minute walk along the boardwalk to the wedding site.

The NYC Ferry

The NYC Ferry is one of the truly special ways to get around the city. Guests staying in Brooklyn or Manhattan can find routes to bring them down to the Rockaways with ease for the same price as a subway ride. Depending on the route you can see midtown, the bridges, lower Manhattan, Governor's Island, Red Hook and Coney Island.
