Micha and Aaron both grew up in Derby, KS and attended the same school and church. However, it wasn't until Aaron slid into her DMs that the two of them truly met. After a few weeks of messaging on social media the high school sweethearts had their first official date at their hometown donut shop before class. It was on this date where they discovered their shared values of family, faith, and FOOD. Aaron and Micha both claim it was "love at first sight". They immediately became inseparable, from football games, school dances, and family vacations. Aaron and Micha were the embodiment of young love. After a semester of long distance, Micha and Aaron both decided to continue their educations at Wichita State University. In January of 2021 they made a trip to Kansas City to do a little shopping and enjoy the rest of their winter break. Spur of the moment they decided to look at engagement rings and ended up finding one they both (mostly Micha) really loved. After deciding to wait a while long to make any big purchases they headed back to Wichita. On June 11, 2021 Micha and Aaron celebrated 4 years together. Just weeks later Aaron proposed with a surprise picnic set up in front of a beautiful pond in Wichita... with the original ring from Kansas City! She said YES and the rest was history. Micha and Aaron cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together and "grow as they go".
