Celebrate The NewlyWebbs!

It all started in August 2011, when they met as freshmen at Hampton University…it was an instant friendship. Despite the hustle and bustle of undergrad, they spent quite a bit of time together taking classes, binge-watching The Walking Dead, and hanging out in the Harbors (IYKYK). They confided in one another and ended up accidentally being each others’ safe space. They had no idea they were developing a deep bond that would serve as the basis for a life time relationship. After graduation, they went their separate ways, keeping in touch through occasional text messages, and wishing their mothers a happy birthday on October 19th (they share the same birthday). In March 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Aaron called Maya and confessed his feelings for her. They talked on the phone for 8 hours and have been inseparable ever since. On May 2nd, 2025 they will take their 13-year friendship, which includes 4 years of dating, to the next chapter – Holy Matrimony. What God has joined together, let no man put asunder.
