Aaron appreciates Alex’s unwavering loyalty and his seamless ability to welcome Madelynn into their friendship. Alexis (pictured on the right) and Madelynn met at work in 2020 and have been inseparable ever since, leaning on one another for advice, laughter, and support through countless long days. Even with Alexis living in Louisiana, their friendship has only grown stronger through endless Teams calls, late-night phone chats, and messages in the iconic Girl Talk group. Madelynn admires Alexis’s unwavering loyalty and the deep love she has for the people in her life. As you will see at the wedding, Alexis is the life of the party - always up for a good time and an even better laugh.

Nick (pictured on the right) has been playing cupid since day one. Rumor has it that work was a little slow, so to keep things interesting, he decided to step in and work his matchmaking magic for Madelynn and Aaron. When the time came to share their engagement news, they both knew two things for certain: Nick would be one of the first to know, and he would absolutely be part of the wedding party. This realization sparked their very first “fight”—whose party would Nick be in? The answer: both. As their official cupid, he stands for them equally, and Madelynn and Aaron couldn’t imagine a better friend to have brought them together.
Taylor Brenkus
Bridesmaid
Madelynn met Taylor (pictured on the right) on one of many future double dates with Nick and Aaron. From the very beginning—teaming up against the boys during a competitive bowling game—the two quickly became great friends and started brainstorming even more double-date ideas where they could beat the guys again. Madelynn admires how seamlessly Taylor fits into the friend group, bringing a great sense of humor and an incredible talent for storytelling—many of them jaw-dropping tales from her time as a night-shift ER nurse. While Nick may be the group’s cupid, Taylor is their saving grace, following him to Chicago to support his career growth and be closer to her grandmother. Though Madelynn and Aaron were heartbroken to see them leave, they knew it wasn’t goodbye—just “see you later.” So don’t mind them on the dance floor, celebrating the reunion of the original gang.
Ryan Hurford
Groomsman
Ryan is Madelynn’s younger brother and, inherently, her first best friend. Though Ryan and Madelynn have always been complete opposites in just about every way, they’ve bonded over two important things: making fun of their dad… and, of course, growing into the good people their mom hoped they would become. As the family musician, Ryan can often be found overanalyzing the song that’s playing or curating the next track for his band. While he may not be in the center of the dance floor, he’ll be surrounded by laughter, doing what he does best—bringing smiles to everyone around him.
Ashley Walther
Bridesmaid
Ashley, Aaron’s older sister, had the tough job of keeping an eye on him growing up. Like any good sister, she occasionally turned a blind eye to backyard knife throwing, golf swing practice on their mom’s flowers, and many moments that would later become hilarious stories. Despite their ten-year age gap, Aaron and Ashley have always stayed close—never more than one phone call away from either sibling flying down 290 at 120 mph. Aaron still remembers the moment Ashley knew Madelynn was “the one,” thanks to Madelynn’s cow tattoo. As a cattle rancher, Ashley welcomed another Hereford (Hurford) with open arms, instantly making Madelynn part of the family. Loving, caring, and always down for a good time, Ashley is truly the best sister one could ask for.
